Touch was circulated quarterly for the first time.
DCMA established and supported
over 50 Childminding Groups.
First Aid subsidies introduced
in Devon to encourage childminders to gain
a recognised
First Aid Qualification - not compulsory by Law at this
stage.

through the changes to registration and the new National
Standards when The Children Act, 1989 was introduced.
