This level 3 qualification is split into five Units:

Unit 1     Introduction to Childcare Practice

Unit 2     Childcare and Child Development (0 - 16)

Unit 3     The Childcare Practitioner in the Home-based Setting

Unit 4     Working with Parents in the Home-based Setting

Unit 5     Planning to Meet the Children's Individual Learning Needs

DCMA offer Units 2, 3, 4 and 5 as combination of distance learning and optional tutor/support workshops to encourage positive learning experiences and outcomes.

DCMA students will benefit from DCMA telephone/email mentoring support.
