Are
you worried about the Early Years Foundation Stage?
The Early Years Foundation Stage
became statute on the 1st September 2008, childcare
providers - registered childminders, pre-schools,
nurseries or schools - will be working to the
Early Years Foundation Stage Welfare Requirements and the Six Areas of Learning.
If
you have not yet
received your copy of the Early Years Foundation Stage

ref: 00261-2008PCK-EN.
DCMA
have a range of publications available to support you
with the Welfare Requirements including risk assessment
record books, Fire Log record books and observation,
assessment and planning record keeping.
Please
do not feel at all threatened by the new pack, whilst
there are some new areas to learn about, most of it
is reiterating in writing what you may already be doing
in practice.

you are feeling anxious or concerned and you feel you
